It's our 5th Birthday!!!
On Saturday 21st October we will be celebrating our 5th birthday at Macalister's Brewing Company
We'll be there from 12pm until late. There will be mini cupcake giveaways and a raffle with the following prizes:
$100 - The Hungry Nomad Voucher
$50 - Cairns Little Seafood Voucher
$50 - Cairns Bulk Meats Voucher
Our friends at Macalister's Brewing have also created a beer for us using our name "The Tipsy Nomad". The Tipsy Nomad is the name of our new mobile bar that will be starting in 2024.
Our Menu for the day is as follows:
Scallop & Bacon Tacos
Roe on sea scallops & smokey bacon served with crunchy salad, chipotle mayo and topped with tropical salsa
Grilled Fish Tacos
Locally caught wahoo marinated in Nomad's blend and served with crunchy salad, Peri Peri aioli & topped with bean sprouts, coriander and chilli
Chicken Parma Arancini
Chicken breast & bacon risotto balls loaded with Aussie Jack cheese and served with a Napoli sauce, balsamic & parmesan
Nomad's Banoffee Pie Arancini
Caramelised banana & white chocolate in a coconut risotto served with dulce de leche & custard cream
Falafel Tacos
Traditional falafel balls served with crunchy salad, vegan aiopli and topped with pico de gallo
Sassy's Scallops
Mini salt & vinegar potato cakes served with garlic aioli & tomato relish
Vegetarian Spring Rolls
Mixed Asian vegetables wrapped in crispy pastry & served with Vietnamese dipping sauce

Wedding Awards
We were the winners of 'The Brides Choice Award's for our category (Caravans, Trucks, Carts & Bars) for 2020 and 2021. As well as 'Highly Commented' for 2021 for the Australian Bridal Awards. From 2022, we chose to no longer participate in the awards.
It means a great deal to us as we pride ourselves on creating unique and memorable menus for bridal couples and their guests. We work closely with our couples to ensure they have exactly what they want for their special day.
